Encased Prototype

My project was to investigate the idea of encasement as it pertains to nature. Mother nature provides encasement to protect whats inside. For example coconuts, nuts, eggs, coconuts, shells, bones, scales, pods, and many more. My students will pick an object that is man made or something from the natural world that deals with the idea of encasement. I decided to build a little house and use materials from nature. As a class we will also discuss how man made structures can mimic mother nature in order to protect ourselves. This is just one interpretation of it.
